Friday, July 25, 2008 - Extracted and slightly sweet, but in a way I can actually enjoy, which is rare. Loads of black cherries, some tobacco and licorice, but really excellent dark carmel notes hiding among all that fruit with a seriously powerful core. Drinking very well right now, I see it continuing to improve for 6-8 years and lasting a lot longer than that. Drank at Taberna del Alabardero in Washington, DC with roast suckling pig. Wow. 93pts.
