This wine was delicious the first night and opened up well over a few hours. It was rich with mature fruit, and touches of licorice and earth. Klipsun vineyards has some great, unique, signature characteristics and they showed in this bottle. I was very happy with the wine. The next day, even tough the bottle had been pumped and refrigerated, the wine was headed south. CellarTracker rates this wine at about the end of its expected life. Based on the first night's results, I did not agree. But, the quick deterioration gives me second thoughts. Why tempt fate? I suggest drinking this vintage now.
