90 Points

Tuesday, March 7, 2017 - The wine was dark ruby in colour and offered dark fruit, blackberry, kirsch, dark fruit liqueur, chocolate, spices and a hint of mint (After Eight?) on the nose and palate, with good acidity, fine, medium-plus tannin, a good, full, creamy mouthfeel and superb length. Very high alcohol (stated with 15.5% ABV, but I would not be surprised if the actual ABV is closer to 16%), but not alcoholic by any means. This full-bodied wine is in an infant stage. 90+ for now, with potential to improve with time.
