Community Tasting Note

Saturday, February 20, 2016 - Inky deep prune, dried cranberry, and some blueberry. A lot of pewter and some bright flint notes. Bright metallic and smokey notes like a flint striker. A little floral with a hint of autumnal leaves and dark chocolate. Really opened up about an hour after opening.

Full bodied. Finish is long and resounding ... firmly tannic but harmoniously balanced by a lingering acidity.

Not going to rate as my palate was a bit compromised before tasting this. It's quite good though.
