Monday, December 29, 2014 - I'd had a bottle in my cellar for good few years and decided to try it.

Amazing orange colour - could be mistaken for Irn Bru or any wine that is horribly oxidised.

At first poured a sample into a small tasting glass, and wasn't impressed, but using a much larger glass with a decent airspace showed a completely different wine that wowed.

The nose didn't wow, but the taste certainly did. Complex fruit and floral notes and a stunning finish. Even at 13 years it has power, length and impact.

Fantastic wine.
