Sunday, October 23, 2016 - Clean garnet red of pale intensity. Medium nose with notes of dried fruit (fig, raisins), dark chocolate, sweet spices (cinnamon, vanilla, cloves). A hint of game dashes through the background. On the palate it's sweet with medium acidity and tannins, high alcohol and a long finish. Very good - complex, intense, expressing the style very well, but could be better balanced and have less sweetness.
