Wednesday, November 1, 2023 - Tasted at Don Melchor vertical dinner with Enrique Tirado. Very identifiably Chile, with some of the trademark quince and Eucalyptus notes. Juicy and very concentrated. Tons of oak is still making its presence felt with vanilla and chocolate aromatics. I would not have guessed that this wine is 17 years old - youthful in appearance and the palate. Nice to drink now but with plenty in store.
