Saturday, April 1, 2017 - PNP to reveal a blackish / purple to the glass. Almost textbook Napa Cabernet nose of bramble, cassis, blackberry, and hints of powdered cocoa. Rich and inviting on the palate with generous and pristine fruit, some salinity, and a silky mouthfeel. Great aftertaste for 20-30 seconds. Although not breaking any new ground here, this is a stellar rendition of Oakville Cabernet at this price point. Smooth and well integrated tannin. Doubtful this is a long term ager as it is showing well now, and should hold its peak for another 1-3 years.
