Saturday, April 10, 2021 - This is rather good. The color jumps out as a true golden yellow - almost neon it’s so intense. Hay and melted butter come top of mind for the nose. Some yellow fruit in the background. The palate is rich, mature and a bit earthy (mushroom). Clearly Chardonnay yet not as layered as the best from the cote de Beaune. Lingers - great flavor purity. No window dressing. Drink now. I’m a fan. (91)
