Tuesday, January 17, 2017 - A great representation of Bierzo and mencia. Raspberry and blueberry on the nose, with floral notes, spice, and stone adding complexity to the rich fruit. The minerality shows through even more on the palate, lending a dark tone to the otherwise light fruit. Smooth texture, refined tannins, and a somewhat bitter finish. Really enjoyable.
