Sunday, July 19, 2009 - Popped and aired for one hour. Deep red color and aromas of black fruits. Allthough enjoyable, there was a noticeable metalic component on the finish. There is some incredibly nice fruit in this wine and I am hopeful that things will start to come into balance. For now, the alcohol, fruit, acid and tanin are not very harmonious. I have high hopes for this wine, however.
