This was amazing. Fragrant nose of sweet herbs, stewed black berries, soft leather, spicy oak, pot pouri, melted licorice; silky smooth mouthfeel, fine tannins, med + body, well-integrated, perfectly aged, in a great spot right now. Really impressed. With prime New York steak in Seattle.

Classic Rutherford Cab. Loads of fruit with a solid structure that gives way for a singular balance in its current state. Not a lot of depth, very linear and I find this par for the course with Rutherford wines.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Rutherford dust on the nose. Ate with lamb chops and bone marrow. Perfect wine to accompany the meal...broke through the richness of both of them. Wish the meal could have lasted another two hours!

Popped and aired for one hour. Deep red color and aromas of black fruits. Allthough enjoyable, there was a noticeable metalic component on the finish. There is some incredibly nice fruit in this wine and I am hopeful that things will start to come into balance. For now, the alcohol, fruit, acid and tanin are not very harmonious. I have high hopes for this wine, however.

Has really come into its own now. All tannins have mellowed and is ripe for drinking. The nose was off a bit but delicious. Drink now

Same note as before. Others described the finsh as having a "green" characteristic to it - like artichoke. Will this diminish over time?

Really liked the nose. medium body wine with decent fruit. Not much tannin noticeable. Solid cab but certainly not worth the price.
