Monday, April 22, 2024 - Good but not great. Too much oak on the wine for my taste, plus the flavor profile was relatively generic. Didn't scream sangiovese to me, but had some fleeting moments of typicity on day 2. Decanted for 2 hours on day 1, which didn't do much, then enjoyed the remainder of the bottle over the following two days. Overall a decent drink, but you get the feeling this could have been a lot better.
