Saturday, April 22, 2017 - Starts with a great dark color that fades into lovely maroon at the edges. The nose is great, complex, with strong fruit notes of berries and underbrush and then evolves into licorice and wooden notes. On the palate, absolutely juicy with good acidity, strong yet integrated tannins, and a long, long finish. This is a great brunello from a great vintage. Love it.
