Saturday, December 13, 2014 - The nose was earthy yet sweet with animal musk, baked plum, ripe blackberry, blue floral tones, and saline-minerals. On the palate, velvety smooth textures turned juicy and fresh, showing ripe blueberry, violet candies, bitter bakers chocolate and vibrant minerality. A slightly short blackberry finish was forgivable on this extremely likable Cairanne.
