Sunday, April 13, 2008 - Color of the wine was spectacular gold, very lively. However, at the first nose it was highly alcoholic so no additional aromas could be perceive, and we had to let it rest for an hour. The wine evolved, lost most of the alcohol and aromas to nuts started to emerge. Good resemblence to spanish sherry. At taste, walnut dominated at all times, and the wine had a short finale. I expected more of this wine. It was like having an average sherry, nothing spectacular.
