Thursday, January 26, 2017 - Notably youthful hue. With a little coaxing the nose teases with hints of cherry, spice and incense and even a little bacon fat. In the mouth mid weight with a very suave texture masking a fairly serious structure, as aristocratic as a Villages wine could be, linear, focused, bright energy, an almost claretty austerity leading to a focused and very persistent finish. A serious but very satisfying wine.
