Sunday, October 12, 2008 - Started with some sweet cherry fruit that faded quickly, herbs and acid leaning. Balanced and well made, but not a lot of stuffing. A good village wine that would go better with food.

On a different note, paid about the same price as for this wine at the same time for a Barbera d'Asti and a St. Joseph - both wines kicked this wine's ass. This strikes me as a typical outcome for any Pinot in this price range, new world or old.
