Monday, May 24, 2021 - My last bottle and it showed well. Light-medium ruby. Bing cherry nose. Unlike some Chiantis, this one had plenty of flesh on the bones to stand up to the acid; one of the better-balanced such wines I have had in recent memory. Piquant, matched marinara sauce wonderfully. Right in the middle of its drinking window I should think. I like the style; not sophisticated or trying to be something it is not, just a nice red-with-pasta kind of wine. 5-12-16-8: 91/100.
