Saturday, April 23, 2016 - Medium(-) translucent ruby, fast-moving legs @14.2% abv. Medium-medium(+) aromas of baked red fruits, leather, tobacco, earth. Dry, medium acidity, medium(-) -low tannin, medium(+) alcohol and medium-medium(+) body. Medium(+) well-defined flavors of baked red cherries, toasted oak, leather, milk chocolate, pepper notes. Balanced yes, but a tad residual heat on the alcohol. Suave plush texture, with well defined finish reminiscing of hot summers, slightly too extracted(?).
