Medium ruby color, nice mouth feel. Intense red cherry fruit without being jammy. A bit of leather and earth toward the end. Good balance of oak and acid on the finish, which was a little short.

Tasted at the winery 2/2020. Hoped I'd not simply been caught up in the moment purchasing half case. Absolutely stunning, did not disappoint. Lingered over each delicate nuance, fabulous to final sip.

Medium(-) translucent ruby, fast-moving legs @14.2% abv. Medium-medium(+) aromas of baked red fruits, leather, tobacco, earth. Dry, medium acidity, medium(-) -low tannin, medium(+) alcohol and medium-medium(+) body. Medium(+) well-defined flavors of baked red cherries, toasted oak, leather, milk chocolate, pepper notes. Balanced yes, but a tad residual heat on the alcohol. Suave plush texture, with well defined finish reminiscing of hot summers, slightly too extracted(?).
