Saturday, December 11, 2010 - I can see why this wine was a closeout on the list at Ten-01. The nose is mainly green briar with a slight bit of hay and manure. The palate is green as well with slight spice. The finish is all bitter green stems and then transitions to a lot of manure flavors. Really not very pleasing. No one at the party but me could even have more than a sip. It does have fine structure but the greenies are very mean in this one.
