Sunday, May 27, 2012 - Opened several hours prior. Purple fruit on the nose with a nose mix of currants and red berries. Briary fruit palate with a little pepper and cedar spice. Very prominent fine tannins. Repeating purple fruit on the finish with some smoke and touch of meat. For the most part, surprisingly clean fruit throughout. Could use some time to soften.
