Tuesday, December 27, 2011 - M. Durantou of l'Eglise Clinet makes this of wines bought in bulk--that is, it's plonk. Every btl is different. A couple of my 10 bought at auction have been classic (if basic) decade-old claret, and a couple have been thin and sour. Most have been at least worth the $10/ btl. And some of the good and the bad have had mold on the corks, making me wonder how they were stored before they reached me. This wine won't get any better with age.
