Friday, March 11, 2016 - I did not really love this wine. The nose is nice with lovely floral/honeysuckle notes from the viognier and hints of hazelnut, marmalade, and lemon curd. The palate however feels a little flat and the marsanne makes it feel a touch oily. There is a marzipan note that seems to dominate the back end that I don't find that great. I think its more personal preference that I just don't really enjoy marsanne, but I wouldn't buy this again.
