Sunday, March 13, 2016 - Only Reynvaan wine by which I am unimpressed. Subdued peach and melon on the nose. A bit of oiliness - though just on the nose. It's clean in the mouth. On the initial attack the wine is flat, but opens in the mouth, coming alive only on the finish. Maybe that means the wine should be opened two or three hours before consumption. A soft mouth feel but the flavors are so flat. Juicy finish. Funny wine - nowhere near worth $50 or $60 or whatever is being charged for it. Remarkably long finish though, lingering 30 - 45 seconds. Maybe it's too early to drink it?
