Monday, February 20, 2023 - Finally pulled a Barolo out of the cellar that lived up to the hype and I now "get" why Barolo is so sought after.
This wine is wonderful, my other bottle of this must have had a flaw.
Menthol, leather, cigar, on a background of muted dark fruits. Tannins are there but very smooth and enjoyable. Small sips bring a lot of intensity and flavor. Long finish. Score 95

By day #3 was fading fast, day #3 score 90
