Wednesday, August 26, 2020 - This was a really great tasting wine. Didn't seem Italian at all, but I am not super-Tuscan guy. The first give-away was how it was so much less acidic than most traditional Tuscan Sangiovese-based wines. Given that, I still thought it was absolutely delicious and in the vein of a right bank Bordeaux in a luscious fruit-focused year, which it really was. None of this is a problem, but just that it is a different style. Based on other reviews, this is a well-made wine for such a hot year and will keep aging well for a while.
