Sunday, January 26, 2020 - Deep ruby red. Classic Cabernet aromas fo blackcurrant, chocolate, fresh earth, toasty oak, vanilla and spice. As the wine opened more blueberry.
A sweet entry with plenty of rich textural feel; full bodied with fair power and bags of black fruits and oak influences: cassis, raisin, dark chocolate (70%) and vanilla pod.
A well structured, gutsy wine with some glycerol coating the mid palate giving some generosity and a long, winding finish. The tannins are powdery and firm yet have an approachability to them, making for a delicious modern NW wine.
