A deep ruby colour. Plenty of soft, sweet baking spices and spice cake on the nose alongside ripe blackcurrant, woodsmoke, and a significant influence from oak. Full-bodied, the palate resembles a crushed velvet texture extending to a supple mid-palate with vanilla, coconut cream and spice joined by black fruits. Reasonably sophisticated and approachable and with a long-ish length, the finish is warming. A delicious wine closes with ripe, oven-baked fruit flavours but veers, in glass, to smoke, and a slight ash note starts to creep in. It lacks a little freshness but would pair nicely with a cut of red meat.

Deep ruby red. Classic Cabernet aromas fo blackcurrant, chocolate, fresh earth, toasty oak, vanilla and spice. As the wine opened more blueberry. A sweet entry with plenty of rich textural feel; full bodied with fair power and bags of black fruits and oak influences: cassis, raisin, dark chocolate (70%) and vanilla pod. A well structured, gutsy wine with some glycerol coating the mid palate giving some generosity and a long, winding finish. The tannins are powdery and firm yet have an approachability to them, making for a delicious modern NW wine.

Dark in colour and full. typical SA notes, both in nose and taste (is there pinotage in there?). Rough and with character. Slight tannin overhang, but not necessarily in a bad way. I like that it is full but not fruity. Is very well made and has class.

Opaque, deep red, blueing rim. Blueberries, smoke, oak, dark berries, whiff of mint(?). Warm, jammy fruit, pine needles (?), good acidity and prominent tannins. Almost full-bodied. Long, alcoholic aftertaste. Quite nice for a weekday dinner!

Bluered, very dense.
Powerful big & fruity scent of blackcurrant, cherry, ceder, leader, forets berries, anamalistic tones.
Powerful taste ogf tobacco, choclat, ceder. Powerful tannins, medium acidity, coarse. Mediu, aftertaste.
The powerful, alcohol will benefit from a cpopple opm more years in the cellar.
