Thursday, April 27, 2017 - this is a surprise. Holding up very well for a much maligned right bank vintage. Showing no signs of decline, this is a medium to full bodied merlot that defies the naysayers. Not terribly complex, but this has just enough old world character to let you know you are drinking BDX. I would expect this to be drinking well over the next 5 years.
