Friday, December 22, 2006 - Henriot Champagne and Bouchard Wine Dinner (Bistro Kirkou, NW Suburbs Chicago): A bit disappointing that this was not as good as the less expensive NV Souverain Brut. Rich and bold. Aromas of mineral, lime, nuts, and baked bread. Not as well integrated as the others tasted, a bit rough in the mid pallate and not as clean on the finish but the rich, creamy mouthfeel and good flavors still make this a very good NV champagne.
