Saturday, January 9, 2021 - Drinking superbly tonight - light gold as it sits in the glass. Orchard fruits, chalk, preserved lemon, dried spice and creamy autolytic notes waft up on the nose. The palate is so classy - excellent attack, stunning mid-palate texture and a wonderful mousse. The acidity is so well balanced and the fruit is rich and well defined. Seamless finish. This is Henriot's calling card and it shows. (Consistent with a number of other bottles).
