Friday, April 9, 2021 - After an hour decant, I get a nose of leather, BBQ, and some burnt match and the nose changes over time and is quite pronounced. This is a serious old school Bordeaux and the palate is filled with dark red cherry, sweet tart cranberry, acerola cherry, and a dusty bit of cocoa. The tannins are almost fully resolved with a grippiness on the finish which is short but enjoyable. This wine is in or past the window of enjoyment but still showing good right now. There is no reason to hold it any longer so drink up
