Friday, October 20, 2017 - It's young, but I already knew that and thought "well, at least I can replace this one if I decide to." What I wasn't expecting was a darker, riper fruit profile than I normally see in Burlotto. There's some floral and menthol undertones, and it manages to straddle more elegant and robust profiles pretty well, in a 'not allowed in an NC bathroom' sort of way. It's a lighter-medium bodied wine overall, but with firm grape tannins showing through on the finish. A nice wine.
