Wednesday, June 27, 2018 - Incredibly closed off, acidic, and astringent initially. An hour in the decanter and a little food made a world of difference. Tart bitter red fruit eventually led into deeper dark yet still very bright fruit accompanied by classic Barolo character of truffles, violets, mineral and soil. Needs 3-5 more years but a nice regional wine.
