Friday, December 10, 2010 - This wine was tasted in double-blind fashion at Vintage Wines, Ltd. The bottle was kindly provided by Marshall Banker. Deep garnet robe with garnet/brick rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense aromas of plums, coriander, sage and cigar box. Full-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity and melted tannins. The flavors are complex and in line with the nose. The middle palate is solid and the finish is long and smooth. This wine is likely on plateau or perhaps on slow decline. It is drinking nicely now but I do not anticipate further improvement. Drink now-12/15.
