Tuesday, April 16, 2019 - To honor Notre Dame Cathedral.1989 Grande Dame and Three 1985 Bordeaux (Yan's China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Wine Group tasting in honor of Notre Dame Cathedral. Nose of black cherry, green bell pepper, black berry, saddle leather, and earth, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, lovely fruit, rich fruit, too much earth and saddle leather for me, slightly brooding fruit, and a long, long, finish.
