Wednesday, May 13, 2015 - Opened my first bottle of this last night, was strong and a bit closed but very fresh with nice blackberry and spice notes smooth finish, however after pouring a glass tonight, it has opened wonderfully.
Much more spice notes on the nose, especially cloves as well as blackberries and I may be tripoing but I got almost a boysenberry blackcurrant scent as well.
The palate was much smoother and more settled in with a fruit cake/blackcurrant flavour slight peppery and olive notes too. Fantastic after a night.
Time to put the rest down for a sleep for a couple of year
