It was smooth enough but lacked any real depth of flavour. It was pretty flaccid in character - it didn't hang around in the mouth for long but it had good colour and certainly stained the tongue. The bottle and label certainly sold up the wine, shame it didn't live up to the bottle. I got it in a mixed box so only had the 1 bottle.

Australia Day today, the day we remind ourselves of our Neanderthal heritage, the day we drink copious amounts of alcohol, the day we open a bottle of Lou fckn Miranda after 12 hours of drinking and think 'this isn't too bad'. Well done Lou fckn Miranda, bravo.

A perfect combination, a bottle of Lou fckn Miranda, a plastic glass, cheezels, M&M's, chips, dip and NYE celebrations. A junk wine for junk food, very happy I found a 2nd purpose for this crap.

Nice barossa shiraz. No wow factor here but everything is in its place. Enjoyed the quaff. Purchased as part of a mystery mixed case so came in approx 12 dollars for the bottle. Good at that spend.

It is with great disgust that I own this wine. This is their $19.95 Leone Shiraz relabelled Golden Lion for the Chinese market, that appears not to have sold which I am guessing due to the depreciating AUD. A marketing scam later and the wine appears on their web site under this new label at an outrageous RRP $50 and further sold by a popular independent online retailer as a hidden label at a 'discount' for $20. One taste of this crap and you will understand every word I have said is true. My remaining 4 will be used in the bottom of my grease tray for my Weber BBQ rotisserie slow cooked leg of lamb, its evaporation will help keep the meat moist.

Barossa shiraz, but with the dial at about 7 instead of 11. By which I mean, relatively subtle. A good thing in some ways but ..... anyway. Plums, cherries, blackberry. Baking spice, black pepper. Smooth, dusty tannins, a little hot. Not much nose or length. Couldn't really get a grip on this, one of those nights, possibly not a fair score, started at 90 and went down as the evening progressed. Slick but lacking depth.
Slight Tannin, Alcohol carried well, Blueberries/Blackberries, Textbook well made Barossa Shiraz. Opens up nicely after some time. Per other poster's comments, this needs to sit for some time.

Opened my first bottle of this last night, was strong and a bit closed but very fresh with nice blackberry and spice notes smooth finish, however after pouring a glass tonight, it has opened wonderfully. Much more spice notes on the nose, especially cloves as well as blackberries and I may be tripoing but I got almost a boysenberry blackcurrant scent as well. The palate was much smoother and more settled in with a fruit cake/blackcurrant flavour slight peppery and olive notes too. Fantastic after a night. Time to put the rest down for a sleep for a couple of year
