Saturday, October 30, 2021 - Very dark in the glass. Dark spice, black berry, black anise, traces of vanilla. Bit spicy on the tongue. Graham cracker, cocoa, tart dark berry. Nicely structured, but still approachable.

More of a Bordeaux nose on night 2. Such a more interesting wine with an extra day. Went from an 88-89 wine on night 1 to 92 on night 2. I disagree with reviews that say it is perfect right now. Will go with a sturdy 90 at the moment, but there is upside to come on this one.
