Beautiful nose of creme de cassis, cedars new French oak and super ripe blackberries sprinkled with vanilla. Full-bodied, this is rich and powerful while being easy to drink. Red and black currants, beautiful new French oak, black berries and cherries on the palate. Cedar and spice as well as a nice streak of minerality on the palate. Delicious and fully mature, this has several good years left. Drink now-2027 93

This is good stuff. Opaque. Thick. Fruit. We mean, the balance with the supported backbone, but not rigid, smooth in its approach... What are we saying...???... Jeez!!!
Anyway, this is tasty juice. It'll hold up for YEARS to come. Trust us, rack this right and it's got the backbone to handle the time. Yes, like 87TELLUB says, we detect that graham cracker too, and dark spice and river-fresh welcomeness. Yup, we just made that word up, and we're sticking to it.
Enjoy, or sit it a few more Halloweens. Either way, this is a winner. The sugars and sediment clung to the glass like being taped on. Legs all day. It's not that smooth Italian Bordeaux Blend; no silk here, but, darn it's big and bold and offering. We'll take it.
Bottle was GONE in under two hours.
Be well. Peace wishes to Ukraine.

Very dark in the glass. Dark spice, black berry, black anise, traces of vanilla. Bit spicy on the tongue. Graham cracker, cocoa, tart dark berry. Nicely structured, but still approachable.
More of a Bordeaux nose on night 2. Such a more interesting wine with an extra day. Went from an 88-89 wine on night 1 to 92 on night 2. I disagree with reviews that say it is perfect right now. Will go with a sturdy 90 at the moment, but there is upside to come on this one.

A bit tart & disjointed on initial pour. Took a long time to start to come together but still lacked fruit & balance. Marginally better on day 2.

A little fruit forward for my taste, but became more balanced with some time out of the bottle. Solid Cali Cab.
