Wednesday, November 18, 2020 - From Coravin. Aromas of black fruits; a combination of brambles, plums and blackcurrant, with earthy elements, sweet spices, a little leather and aniseed, a touch of blood and mint. In the mouth it's juicy and savoury spiced whilst being a little sweetly fruited. There is also an aniseed note here, with a little leathery edge to the surprisingly softly grained tannins. Finishes with a little alcohol warmth. Beginning to show some tertiary but this is possibly a little too young for me.
