Monday, February 8, 2016 - Love these wines. This started out with some nice dark fruit, but fruit receded with air and gave way to tons of olive brine-y character and a general savoriness, with a slightly bloody component. Would like to see a little more fruit, but I think it will come back with time.

Not at all heavy, but definitely a little weightier than a Gonon. I prefer that little bit of weightiness in my Syrah.
