Brisk, bright acids sit at the forefront of the palate, giving lift to the otherwise dark and brooding fruit tones: blackberry, blueberry, currant. The structure seems to be coming entirely from the acids, it shows tense at the moment. Some smokey notes are coaxed out with air.
