Sunday, February 19, 2017 - Merlot is dominant now as the cab is a little tight & closed. Still needs more time but a wonderful, classic Bordeaux. I find this wine soft with minimal barnyard nose. This is a more subtle expression of fruit which is a nice departure from some more tannic & super powerful Chateau. I want to try a few more from this vintage as it's been a while since I've bought Bordeaux. A nice bottle which won't disappoint. Decanted 2 hours & drank over next hour.
