98 Points

Monday, March 18, 2024 - This vintage is in a perfect place today, with all its youthful freshness combined with a first wave of tertiary aromas, paired with the aromas of the house style. Complex, very precise, delicate and elegant, well blended but still with a lot of tension and zest. The first sips gave me goose bumps. Quite perfect and the best champagne I've had in a year (or since Krug 1996). 98/99pts.

TN: Wow, right from the start this is so expressive and intense but with a sense of balance, elegance and completeness that makes it clear that something great is in the glass. On the palate this is so delicate but with so much substance and layers and layers of white and citrus fruit, some toasty notes, some caramel, some nutty notes and all wrapped around a superb minerality backbone. Sweetness, savoriness in perfect balance. Ultra-fine mousse, so round, balanced and elegant. Lively and full of tension. Close to perfection.

Decanting: Superb right out of the gates. Remained on a high level throughout the evening. No decanting needed.
