Friday, April 12, 2019 - HDH auction at Spiaggia; 4/12/2019-4/13/2019 (Chicago, IL): #13-02, 8% abv. Absolutely stunning -- primordially fresh with some of that old-school JJP stink on the nose. Beautiful slatey character, with lots of fresh elements. No immediately discernible secondary character, this is about as youthful as you could possibly imagine. Wonderful power, acidity, and concentration.
