Wednesday, June 19, 2019 - Deep lemon to light gold. Raspberry and chamomile on the nose, showing little age. Impeccable balance between acidity and sweetness, showing nothing but waves of pure, primary fruit (raspberry, asian pear, freshly sliced green apple). Fairly full-bodied, with stunning fruit intensity and very long length. Perhaps not quite as deep as the very best bottles of Wehlener Sonnenuhr, but still an utterly spectacular Riesling, with many, many more years to go.
