Friday, April 12, 2024 - A wine in its best drinking spot right now, but with some peak years still left in it. It did not change very much over the course of a couple hours. I rate the nose a 95 as it was a potpourri of flower petals, rinds and skins of various citrus and stone fruits resting on a pile of white stone. On the palate it was largely the same but with a bit more chalk and stone than sweet fruits. Definitely a wine that shows best with the right foods and an aged salmon proved perfect.
